    HRDN provides learning opportunities in multiple dimensions and diverse locations not only in Pakistan but also at international level. HRDN is a unique, membership based network of its kind with more than 1000 individual professional and organizational members throughout Pakistan and abroad to enhance individual and institutional competencies by facilitating capacity development and professional excellence towards sustainable development.

    HRDN has a vast pool of experts and resource persons of various levels and from varied thematic areas. Many of these experts, trainers and resource persons are placed by HRDN on various assignments with UN and other Bilateral Agencies, Govt. and other National and International organizations. HRDN being the only representative network of the development sector, receives excellent feedback by understanding and serves the needs of professional s and organizations.

    Capacity building of individuals and organizations is amongst key objectives of HRDN and our capacity building unit only focuses on these objectives, to meet requirements and demands of the members in specific and non-members from the sector in general.

    Trainer database

    HRDN’s training program is equipped with a rich resource pool of trainers with excellent capacities and expertise in their respective fields. These Trainers are multidisciplinary and highly qualified having international exposures with a blend of academic, professional and research experience.

    HRDN is the first organization in Pakistan that has developed quality standards for training. These standards are followed by different training institutions for improvement in their program. HRDN has a major focus on improving the quality of trainings for its members and by the members.

    HRDN Training Unit

    HRDN have a separate training department with the capacity of four experienced individuals as staff and nearly four hundred trainers all over the Pakistan. Training unit of HRDN organized trainings as per the annual training calendar and need of other organizations.

    a. Customized Training for staff:
    These training are designed as per the requirement and needs of various organizations among Donors, INGOs, NGOs and corporate etc. Training Needs Assessment (TNA) is conducted in majority cases, if required. Such training can be for the organizational staff, partners or at the community level.

    b. Comprehensive Training Program for Implementing Partners:
    Such program is planned as per the requirement of the Donors and INGOs for their implementing partners. This is customized as per the requirement under a project or program. In most cases a TNA is required to be conducted at the start. This can vary from months to years. It is planned on the on-job methodology where formal training is coupled with mentoring and follow-up after the training. This is highly appreciated and effective.

    c. Community Capacity Building
    As per the demand of any organization HRDN organized capacity building sessions for community by interactive Theater.

    HRDN Training Evaluation Process

    HRDN has an ongoing, comprehensive evaluation process for its trainings and trainers to identify the gaps in order to improve the quality of trainings. At the end of each training, Participants, rate module and give their feedback according to ISO certified formats.

    One day Training on Resource Mobilization

    Resource mobilization refers to all activities involved in securing new and additional resources for your organization. It also involves making better use of, and maximizing, existing resources. Resource mobilization is often referred to as ‘New Business Development’.

          Why is resource mobilization so important?

    Resource mobilization is critical to any organization for the following reasons:
